This is a time-lapse video of coronary arterial tree being FRESH printed. A coronary arterial tree being FRESH printed in alginate in the gelatin slurry support bath with black dye added to the alginate to aid visualization. Total duration of print is approximately 1 hour. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Oct. 23, 2015, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by T.J. Hinton at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, and colleagues was titled, "Three-dimensional printing of complex biological structures by freeform reversible embedding of suspended hydrogels."
