In 'Evaluating Cover Crops and Herbicides for Glyphosate Resistant Palmer Amaranth Control in Cotton,' researchers found that grass cover crops, like cereal rye and wheat, provided the best Palmer amaranth control. The paper earned the title 'Most Outstanding Paper in Weed Technology' at the 2017 Weed Science Society of America annual meeting.
