The chimera state in a system of 3 platforms and 45 metronomes. Each outer platforms is fully synchronized and the middle platform is desynchronized. The two outer platforms are anti-phase synchronized with one another (i.e., when one platform swings left, the other swings right); this is a consequence of the symmetry of the system.
