Caucasian travelers who were asked to fill out a questionnaire in an orderly train station generally sat closer to a Dutch-African person, compared to when they were asked in a messy train station. This image relates to an article that appeared in the April 8, 2011, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Diederik A. Stapel of Tilburg University in Tilburg, Netherlands, and colleagues was titled, "Coping with Chaos: How Disordered Contexts Promote Stereotyping and Discrimination."
