This sonic time-lapse is a compilation of sequential two-second slices of sound recorded in the Guanica Dry Forest from September 1 through October 11. Each second of audio corresponds to one day, so Hurricane Irma occurs approximately 4 seconds in, and Hurricane Maria at approximately 20 seconds.
