Knowledge of the intermolecular interactions that stabilize the nucleocapsid, which is the helical arrangement of proteins and ssRNA shown above, is crucial for future drug design. Through an analysis of molecular dynamics simulations, the forces which render stability to the nucleocapsid were studied and quantified in the present paper.
