Cancer Cell Aggressiveness, Measured by Ability to Absorb Small Particles, May Assist Diagnosis (7 of 8) (VIDEO)
Caption
Uptake of 0.8 μm beads by melanoma cells: dividing cells demonstrated an increased uptake of particles (pointed to by the arrow in the movie). This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Jan. 15th, 2020, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by Y. Brill-Karniely at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Jerusalem, Israel, and colleagues was titled, "Triangular Correlation (TrC) between cancer aggressiveness, cell uptake capability, and cell deformability."
