Professor Timothy Seastedt, a fellow of the University of Colorado at Boulder's Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research, will use a $500,000 grant from the US Department of Agriculture to team up with Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks and local middle- and high-school students to tackle environmental problems caused by three invasive weed species threatening native grasslands.
