This is a three-dimensional views of Pallas based upon the shape model derived from HST imaging. This image relates to an article that appeared in the October 9 issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. B.E. Schmidt of the University of California, Los Angeles in Los Angeles, Calif., and colleagues, was titled, "The Shape and Surface Variation of 2 Pallas from the Hubble Space Telescope."
