NASA Sees Heavy Rainfall in Super Typhoon Soudelor

On Aug. 3, 2015, the GPM Core Observatory saw Soudelor had rain falling at a rate of over 58 mm (2.3 inches) per hour in the southern side of the well-defined eye.
