Egg Color Arms Race

Host and parasite egg appearance has diversified over time, suggestive of a race between the host evolving new signatures and the parasite new forgeries. The outer circle is made up of host (tawny-flanked prinia) eggs, and the inner circle of parasitic (cuckoo finch) eggs.
