A team of researchers at the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture has been awarded a USDA Agriculture and Food Research Initiative grant for nearly $1 million to determine the key parameters for woody biomass feedstock logistics systems for the Southeast so potential commercialized biorefineries could effectively operate with high-quality, year-round feedstock.
