Photographs of the G ring arc obtained on 19 September 2006 at 12:37, 13:11, 13:44 and 14:18 UTC from top to bottom. A bright arc moves from right to left through the field of view. This image relates to article that appeared in the Aug. 3, 2007, issue of the journal Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Matthew M. Hedman and colleagues of Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., was titled "The Source of Saturn's G Ring."
