Map created from NASA's TRMM satellite shows rainfall from tropical storm Lee. Rainfall from the northern Gulf of Mexico across eastern La., Miss., northwestern Ala., and central Tenn. generally exceed 100 mm (~4 inches, shown in dark green) with some parts of Miss. and La. receiving upwards of 250 mm (~10 inches, shown in dark red). Totals of 125 mm (~5 inches, shown in bright green) to as much as 200 to 250 mm (~8 to 10 inches, shown in orange and red) extend from south central Pennsylvania. Elsewhere in the mid-Atlantic, rainfall ranged from 100 to 150 mm (~4 to 6 inches).
