Neurosurgeon, Fernando Gonzalez, M.D., discusses the use of the Pipeline Embolization Device to fix four brain aneurysms in Belinda Cook, then a 56-year-old women with sickle cell anemia. Jefferson was the first hospital in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware to use the device which was recently approved by the FDA.
