Roger Revelle Refit

The research vessel Roger Revelle is undergoing a mid-life refit to extend its working life and strengthen its research capabilities for the Navy and scientific organizations. The Revelle is owned by the US Navy and operated and maintained by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography -- under a charter lease agreement with the Office of Naval Research, which manages the ship on behalf of the Navy.
