Additional Genetic Cause for Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Discovered

Researchers have discovered new genes that are responsible for the production of regulatory proteins of the immune-associated GTPase family in humans and mice, respectively, which counteract the accumulation of fat in the liver and thus contribute to the prevention of fatty liver.
