Prison camps like the one at Guantánamo, Cuba, are places where detainees can lose even "the right to have rights," according to the new book "Rightlessness," by A. Naomi Paik, a professor of Asian American studies at the University of Illinois. She also looks at previous camps that detained Haitian refugees and Japanese-Americans.
