The largest ever analysis of NHS patients in Scotland who fail to attend reveals that the most important indicator of which patients will miss multiple appointments is socio-economic deprivation. A fifth of people are regularly missing appointments with those aged 16-30 and over 90 the most likely to fail to attend.
