The first image shows germ cells in an untreated baby diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukaemia, with the arrows pointing at germ cells that shown in green. The second image shows germ cells in a nine-year old boy with a type of blood cancer called myelodysplasia, who has been treated with non-alkylating chemotherapy. Both show germ cell counts comparable to the normal controls. Dashed yellow lines delineate tubules included in the evaluation of germ cells per tubular cross-section.
