A bee seeks pollen from a wildflower in Utah's Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. In a study published Nov. 7, 2018, in the journal PeerJ, Utah State University researchers say the original boundaries of the newly reduced monument are home to nearly half of Utah's bee species.
