NASA's Aqua satellite captured this infrared image of Tropical Storm Lester on Sept. 7 at 9 a.m. EDT (1300 UTC) that showed the center devoid of any strong convection and thunderstorms. The coldest cloud top temperatures (blue) were in a small area southeast of the center.
