In a proof-of concept experiment the researchers attached a CS-FET chip with H2 sensors to a drone, creating an aerial chemical sensing probe. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the March 24, 2017, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by H.M. Fahad at University of California, Berkeley in Berkeley, Calif., and colleagues was titled, "Room temperature multiplexed gas sensing using chemical-sensitive 3.5-nm-thin silicon transistors."
