University of Chicago economist James Heckman will discuss the connection between early childhood education and productivity Feb. 14 at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Heckman, the Henry Schultz Distinguished Service Professor of Economics at UChicago, received 2000 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences.
