SwRI's James Dante (right) received the SERDP/ESTCP project of the year award for characterizing the corrosion damage associated with atmospheric humidity. With these data, the SwRI team, which includes Erica Macha (left), developed techniques to realistically conduct accelerated testing to evaluate the corrosion resistance provided by new paints and coatings.
