A Global Atlas of Dengue Transmission Guides Control Strategies (2 of 3) (IMAGE)
Caption
The scientists modeled the impact of different interventions aimed at reducing dengue transmission. A 30% reduction in transmission (A) had a weaker and more variable effect on cases than a 70% reduction in transmission (B). This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Jan. 29, 2019, issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by L. Cattarino at Imperial College London in London, UK; and colleagues was titled, "Mapping global variation in dengue transmission intensity."
