Rhinovirus C

The atomic resolution structure of a strain of rhinovirus C (rhinovirus C15a) is shown. The structure was determined by cryo-electron microscopy in a collaboration between UW-Madison and Purdue University. The image colors are depth-cued to highlight protein structure variations on the surface of the virus particle.
