Aerial view of the Namib desert. This handheld digital camera image is from the Space Shuttle mission STS-107 at 283 kilometer altitude. This image relates to article that appeared in the 05 May 2006 issue of the journal Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. R. D. Lorenz of the University of Arizona and colleagues, was titled "The Sand Seas of Titan: Cassini RADAR Observations of Longitudinal Dunes."
