Can individual components be precisely detected in the crowd of chemicals that make up a mixture? At the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland, a new method of spectral analysis has been developed, allowing for much greater precision in the detection of the components of chemical mixtures than to date.
