Nano-CT Images of a Velvet Worm's Leg (VIDEO)

The Nano-CT device developed at the Munich School of BioEngineering at Technical University of Munich (TUM) can create 3D-X-ray images of very small objects. The first test application: Together with colleagues from the University of Kassel and Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht the researchers analyzed the locomotory system of a velvet worm . In the future, the new device could assist doctors in biomedical examinations.
