The southeastern wall of the Kamil Crater shows a concentration of iron meteorite fragments produced by the explosion of the impactor upon hypervelocity collision with the target. This image relates to an article that appeared in the July 22, 2010, issue of Science Express, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. L. Folco at Università di Siena in Siena, Italy, and colleagues is titled, "The Kamil Crater in Egypt."
