Rutgers Professor Jack Harris recounts the discovery of 1.5 million-year-old hominid footprints near Ileret, Kenya. From 2006 to 2008, students at Rutgers' Koobi Fora Field School excavated the site yielding the footprints attributed to Homo erectus.
