On Feb. 18 at 0811 UTC (3:11 a.m. EST) the AIRS instrument aboard NASA's Aqua satellite saw Uriah's coldest cloud top temperatures in strong thunderstorms exceeding -63F/-53C (purple) south of the center of circulation.
