This is a kymograph history of the evolution of antibiotic resistance in the MEGA-plate. As time progresses (down), multiple resistant fronts are seen moving towards the center of plate. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Sept. 9, 2016 issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by M. Baym at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA and colleagues was titled, "Spatiotemporal microbial evolution on antibiotic landscapes."
