This is a panorama shot of the Advanced Light Source at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory in Berkeley, CA. The beamline 11.0.2 (STXM) was used to analyze the interstellar candidates that were captured in aerogel. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 15 August, 2014, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Andrew J. Westphal at the University of California, Berkeley in Berkeley, CA, and colleagues was titled, 'False color image of diffraction pattern from Orion.'
