Dr. Gordon describes the experimental set-up testing the effects of probiotic yogurt on gut microbes in both humans and mice. This video relates to a paper that appeared in the Oct. 26, 2011, issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by Dr. N.P. McNulty of the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., and colleagues, was titled, “The Impact of a Consortium of Fermented Milk Strains on the Gut Microbiome of Gnotobiotic Mice and Monozygotic Twins.”
