BioBotz, a nonprofit educational entertainment company started by six Wake Forest University sophomores, commissioned student artists William Brown and Jessica Vogel to design this Gumby-inspired prototype BioBot toy, which is modeled after kinesin, the molecular motor that walks around inside the cells of all humans, plants, and animals carrying bubble-like cargo from place to place.
