Large Molecules Probed in One Quadrillionth of a Second (IMAGE)
Caption
In strong laser fields, molecules reveal a complex emission pattern of electrons, affecting the interpretation of attosecond experiments. This image relates to a paper that appeared in the March 16, 2012, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by A.E. Boguslavskiy at National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and colleagues was titled, "The Multielectron Ionization Dynamics Underlying Attosecond Strong-Field Spectroscopies."
