This shows forced swimming test behavior (10 seconds). In this video, rats exposed to the control photoperiod display the swimming phase. This video relates to a paper that appeared in the April 26, 2013, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Davide Dulcis at University of California, San Diego in La Jolla, Calif., and colleagues was titled, “Neurotransmitter Switching in the Adult Brain Regulates Behavior.”
