Professor Stefana Parascho (right) and graduate student Isla Xi Han stand beneath a concrete and glass brick prototype of the LightVault built at the Embodied Computation Lab in Princeton University's School of Architecture, in January 2020. This was one of eight prototypes for the LightVault, whose design and construction was spearheaded by Parascho. The final LightVault, built on location at the Ambika P3 Gallery in London, was 100% constructed by industrial robots, with no need for scaffolding or construction forms -- a revolutionary advance that could make architecture and construction much more sustainable.
