New research suggests that blocking three inflammatory molecules at the same time may help treat allergic lung inflammation and other forms of inflammation and fibrosis. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the May 4, 2016 issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by K.M. Vannella at National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, NIH in Bethesda, Md., and colleagues was titled, "Combinatorial targeting of TSLP, IL-25, and IL-33 in type 2 cytokine-driven inflammation and fibrosis."
