Andrey Golubov joined the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management as an Assistant Professor of Finance in July 2015. Previously, he was a faculty member at Cass Business School (United Kingdom) and a visiting scholar at NYU Stern School of Business (United States). He studies how firms make investment and financing decisions, particularly those involving corporate control considerations. His current research examines various aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and value and performance. His research is published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Finance. He is teaching a second-year MBA elective course on mergers and acquisitions.
