Photograph of a seedling of the parasitic plant Cuscuta pentagona attaches to a tomato plant. A study of the plant, by Dr. Justin Runyon of Pennsylvania State University and colleagues, was titled "Volatile Chemical Cues Guide Host Location and Host Selection by Parasitic Plants," and appeared in the September 29, 2006, issue of the journal Science, published by AAAS.
