Phylogenetic Placement of Larsonella

The molecular phylogeny of Larsonella pumilus and 19 related species from the Ryukyu Archipelago shows a close genetic relationship between the genera Larsonella and Priolepis. Priolepis cincta was paired with Larsonella pumilus, not with the congeners (Priolepis semidoliata and Priolepis latifascima).
