Half of a coil of copper tubing is coated with one of our icephobic surfaces. Ice only forms on the uncoated side. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the March 11, 2016 issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by K. Golovin at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, and colleagues was titled, "Designing durable icephobic surfaces."
