Miniature Kidney Tumors

Human ccRCC organoids under the microscope, labeled with fluorescent markers. The scientists extracted cancer stem cells from patients and used them to grow these miniature versions of kidney tumors in the lab. The structure of the organoids resembles patients' tumors and contains the same types of cells.
