The time axis allows the data to be animated hour by hour. The user can choose to display the whole population or a selected category according to its demographic profile (sex or age), its social profile (level of education, socioprofessional category, household income or professional occupation), its residential area profile, the type of activity carried out or the last mode of transport used. It is also possible to restrict the display of the population present to non-resident persons only. The finest spatial scale proposed corresponds to neighbourhoods in towns and to a municipality or a group of municipalities in less dense areas: reducing to a more local scale (or even cross-referencing between sociodemographic categories) could in fact lead to unrepresentative results.
