<I>Daspletosaurus horneri</I>

Life reconstruction of Daspletosaurus horneri (nov. species) shows the facial integument, which includes a mask of flat scales, patches of armor-like skin, and a keratin-covered horn behind the eye. The small scales are inferences based on unpublished museum specimens. The speculative color pattern is based on Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman.
