On July 24 at 1:35 a.m. EDT (0535 UTC), NASA's Aqua satellite passed over Tropical Storm Gonzalo in the central Atlantic Ocean. Aqua found highest concentrations of water vapor (brown) and coldest cloud top temperatures were around the center.
