Geometric structure of the most stable organic coated golden cluster. The length scale of the gold cluster is about 1.7 nanometer. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the April 24, 2015, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by W.W. Xu at Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai, China, and colleagues was titled, " Unraveling structures of protection ligands on gold nanoparticle Au68(SH)32."
